Use Treatment Plan Status, Detail under Treatment Plan Reports. Anyone with reporting access can run it, usually the office manager or treatment coordinator.
Reports › Treatment Plan Reports › Treatment Plan Status - Detail
Open Reports (listed as Reports (old) in some versions) and go to Treatment Plan Reports.
Choose Treatment Plan Status - Detail.
Include Accepted plans (add Proposed for everything diagnosed), and exclude Completed and Scheduled. Set the date range to the last 24 months.
Run the report and note the total and the number of patients.
The report includes patient contact details, so it doubles as a call list.
