Use the Outstanding Treatment Plan report. Anyone with reporting access can run it, usually the office manager or treatment coordinator.
Reports › Outstanding Treatment Plans
Open Reports and select the Outstanding Treatment Plan report.
Add a filter on the created treatment date for the last 24 months.
Leave procedure filters off for the full picture. You can narrow to crowns or root canals later.
Run the report and note the total and the number of patients.
The Treatment Plan dashboards give a quick visual of the same number if you just want the headline.
